cube_design are passionate about high-quality architecture whether it is our own design or another architect’s.

Jane became an instrumental member of the CABE Design Review Team in 2006 and was subsequently appointed to the CABE Review Panel where she became synonymous with education design, undertaking a review and audit of all educational projects undertaken in 2008/2009, which informed the National Audit Agency and a number of the critical assessments regarding school design for Building Schools for the Future.

Since this time, cube_design have acted on behalf of a number of design review panels and have provided advice to local authorities and ex-public authority bodies with regards to best practice for design.

Examples include the Bournemouth Design Review Panel; LocatED and recent works undertaken on a major mixed-use development at Plaistow in south London; the ESFA and Mott Macdonald on the Priority Schools Building Programmes 1 and 2; and have provided review assistance to the South West Regional Design Panel.

cube_design, through Jane as an RIBA recognised Client Design Advisor, is able to provide support to the client throughout every stage of the design process.

Jane is also a member of the Built Environment Expert (BEE) Design Council.
