Socially distanced bench concepts

Here at cube_design we have been busy adjusting to the new measures implemented in and around our office environment due to Covid-19, and we are pleased to say we have all been adapting very well.

As part of this adaptive process we identified the need for a new seating arrangement for our outdoor eating and social space. Of course our biggest challenge was to make it socially distanced, allowing for a 2 metre gap, keeping in mind that this may be subject to change in the future. Our designers set about the challenge, considering the many design fundamentals including ergonomics, materiality, recycling, and of course ensuring a level of sociability!
